Out of college, I had been working as a temp at the United Airlines Employees Credit Union. My job was to enter codes for pre-ordered specialty meals into the system. If you flew on United Airlines in the early 90's and received Salisbury steak instead of the vegetarian meal you requested, it was because I was working the graveyard shift and did not give a shit.
On Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee:
On the show, it looks like we're just riding around Los Angeles with a dash cam and multiple GoPros throughout the car, a guerilla-type production. But in reality, we had a police escort on a motorcycle and a production team in two vans, with three cameramen, a boom guy, and producers riding alongside and behind. Seeing the scope of what it took to make this show floored me.
Recently, my newly single seventy-year-old mom told me she's gone on ItalianMeet.com. I said, "Mom, I hope that's spelled M-E-E-T."

pickPulled all nighter to finish this one! I think ive bailed on almost every book that has been written by a comedian. They always feel forced like theyre trying too hard to be funny or interesting. Not this one! It was an easy read with a great flow. Its a nice change to read about a regular guy that had a regular life working hard to get where he is. The funny wasnt forced. It rolled easy like a conversation.
