I‘ve visited 26 countries this year, and my ‘big discovery‘ from these journeys was Serbian author Danilo Kiš - A Tomb for Boris Davidovich. I would love to read books #6.

I was really interested to find that I had ‘travelled‘ to 14 countries in 67 books as well as reading 21 books set in my home country - including 4 from my home state. My choice would be #6.

I started this book with no expectation, purely to fulfil my reading goal of reading something from a local author. I‘m glad I picked this book. I loved the prose and how the story and thoughts of the various character was woven together along with all the local histories. This book reminded me on why I loved the subject of History in my high school days once again. #asianlit
In the beginning of the year, I told myself that I would read something from local Malaysian author, and I picked this up. This book reminds me on the many reasons why I loved the subject of history in my high school days! #nowreading #malaysianauthor
