Yep; Green Arrow continues to be my DC thing, despite that blip with the New 52 series. Mike Grell, Ed Hannigan, and Dick Giordano produce an action-packed yet thoughtful comic that sees Oliver face off against all too real villains.
Despite the Mature Content label, the older protagonist, and the subject matter--child torture and homophobic murder--the library has this in the YA section. Dear librarians: not all superhero comics are YA. #comics
xicanti Another note: this is a direct sequel to THE LONGBOW HUNTERS, so you might want to read that first. Most of what Dinah deals with here is rooted in the earlier volume, though there's enough context that you don't absolutely NEED it. 7y
TobeyTheScavengerMonk Looooooooooved The Longbow Hunters but regretfully haven‘t checked out any more of the Mike Grell run. Have you read any of Kevin Smith‘s run? 7y
xicanti @TobeyTheScavengerMonk Quiver was some of the first post-Silver Age DC I read, way back in the day. I reread it last year and still enjoyed it very much. 7y
