8 posts | 10 read | 3 to read
A time to think about lives lived, choices made. A time for friends Every week, four women have an unmissable appointment in their calendars: they meet for breakfast. Clare has just been through a devastating divorce. Shes driven by anger and revengeuntil she learns something that forces her to question her own actions and to look deep inside for the person she used to be. Elizabeth is a successful professional. A widow, shes determined not to waste another second of her life. And maybe that includes romantic possibilities Karen is in her twenties, and she believes these should be the years for taking risks. Shes working on her dream of being an actor, despite her mothers severe disapproval. Julia is turning forty this year. Her husbands career is established, her kids are finally teenagers and shes just started her own business. Everythings going according to planuntil she discovers shes pregnant. Over a meal and coffee, the friends talk, tell their stories, and offer each other encouragement and unfailing support. They share the truths theyve discovered about their lives.

Mehso-so

Here‘s my review for a book I finished reading last night at 2 AM. This book is on my list of physical books that I‘ve been putting off reading. This was my first Debbie Macomber book.

I decided to start this book. This is my first Debbie Macomber book. I own a physical copy of this book but I‘m listening to it on audio. This book is on my list of physical books I‘ve been ignoring. It‘s good so far but I‘m not feeling emotionally invested in the story yet.

🇺🇸 Fireworks! 🎆
🇺🇸 I like to have cold lemonades (or chilled wine and cocktails) and read in shady spots!

🌈Just the amazing stories of people and communities coming together. Also we celebrated our dog‘s 6-year birthday on April 1 with banana and peanut butter pupcakes. We also got a rainbow today

🌈As @wanderinglynn mentioned, Pharrell‘s Happy song, 90s pop, and Bollywood party songs

🌈Pepperoni pizza 🍕

Pickpick

Mild pick. A quick and cozy read. It was a little predictable, but enjoyable, comforting, and I liked most of the characters. I wish it hadn‘t focused so much on romantic relationships - I liked the idea of the book based on their friendship.
