pickIn comparison to his first novel Pop Kids, this one is practically a masterpiece. It's more focused and engaging with a story that's not entirely hinged on some of the weirdest sex scenes. It's still written by someone better known for writing dramatic lyrics and is a bit of a vanity project, but is actually one I had a good time reading. And at 250ish pages, it won't take much of your time at all.
