I have fallen down a Terri Cheney rabbit hole, and I am okay with that. Her writing is so wonderful, even though it conveys some hard hitting truths. Childhood bipolar disorder exists, and rather than scaring me as a reader, it left me with an awareness that we never know how exactly it is to walk an inch in someone else‘s shoes. Be kind. Be observant. Be empathetic.
