Just when I thought this was dragging a bit, it REALLY CAME back and won me over. A really good mystery, with little clues

I enjoyed the writing style of this book and found the story gripping but the main plot details seem to be skirted over very quickly and without much depth or proper explanation. It reminded me of The Trouble with Goats and Sheep with its village full of secrets
Book 1/50: The whole novel was a slow build up of emotion and tension until the very end, when all the pieces slowly come together. I really liked the whole vibe of the book, and the switching back and forth between Anna as an adult and Anna as a child. I was left almost satisfied with this book…I personally would‘ve liked a bigger “punch” at the end, but that‘s just me.
Our Thriller of the Month for July is this superbly haunting mystery that demands to be devoured in a single sitting. A clever, beautifully written exploration of grief and family, this is a far cry from your usual psychological thriller. #bookofthemonth #psychologicalthriller
I returned this latest in my #LitsyAtoZ challenge for Q. An enjoyable thriller that had me curious to the end to find out about the narrators missing sister. Set today and in 1982 it was a page turner although still not sure if i was completely satisfied with the end.
