this book is about two boys ( Zwaan and Thomas) after World War II. One of them is Jewish and the other Christian but they are inseparable and incredibly cute ( I love friendship stories).
In the end Zwaan moves to America and it is super sad (i'm not going to tell you everything but I'm crying 😬) and Zwaan leaves a heartbreaking message to Thomas
