Walking Dead Volume 17: Something to Fear
Walking Dead Volume 17: Something to Fear | Robert Kirkman
10 posts | 30 read | 1 to read
The world we knew is gone. The world of commerce and frivolous necessity has been replaced by a world of survival and responsibility. An epidemic of apocalyptic proportions has swept the globe, causing the dead to rise and feed on the living. In a matter of months society has crumbled: no government, no grocery stores, no mail delivery, no cable TV. In a world ruled by the dead, the survivors are forced to finally start living. In this volume of the NYT bestselling survival horror, Rick and his band of survivors work to build a larger network of thriving communities, and soon discover that Negan's "Saviors" prove to be a larger threat than they could have fathomed. Crossing Negan will lead to serious, dire consequences for the group; it seems that for the first time since the Governor's reign of terror that Rick may have Something to Fear.

This volume always gets to me. I'll never get over Glenn. 😢 I read this on pins and needles because even knowing what's going to happen the writing is still suspenseful.

I haven‘t done as much reading today as I anticipated (maybe tonight) but I did watch 3 episodes of Fear the Walking Dead in anticipation of the new season starting tonight (I think). +16 for #teamslaughter #scarathlon2020

I've chosen a pic that shows one of the only good moments in this volume. This volume was rough 😣- thankfully the TV show prepared me for this one or I might be really upset right now. I am now to the point in the series where I am at the same point in the show, so I'm going into the next volume blind. Wish me luck! Book 2 in my graphic novel marathon is finished. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️#walkingdead #comics #negan #marathon

No spoilers, but here we go again. Negan and Lucille. My stomach is getting all anxious. 😣

DeborahSmall Jeffrey Dean Morgan is a great Negan! Bought my youngest son the the first compendium for Xmas and can't wait to read it myself, then I'll get him the other 2 between now and his birthday but we can share. I have a lot of comics and graphic novels on my wish list 8y
stacybmartin @DeborahSmall I've been really lucky to get all of them at my library so far. And he is an excellent Negan - you really love to hate him!! I hope you get all your wish list items! 💚🎄❤️ 8y

8little_paws I quit watching a few episodes in from the end of last season. I was behind on episodes, and I heard there was a major cliffhanger. So I decided to wait and see fan reaction at beginning of this season. I did that, and decided to just bail completely. 8y

So gnarly! The conflict between different groups makes things much more interesting.
