An interesting & disturbing look at a case from Jim Crow Florida. King discusses the roles of race, economic status, & corruption in carrying out justice. With the George Floyd murder trial beginning, it feels timely. A necessary reminder of how so little has changed in America.
A little wordy & the author includes so much information about every player, major or minor, that it feels like you need a flow chart. Nonetheless, I recommend it.
