This one has been languishing on my tbr stack for a long time. I finally read it and just loved it! Reading about Kaala and the Swift River pack was so interesting. I will definitely be picking up the other books in the series.

#Recommensday pick. Wonderful story told from a young wolf's point of view. Kaala lived 14,000 years ago in a valley governed by a hierarchy of wolves. Relationships developed between wolves and humans and the attraction was strong enough to overcome the many conflicts they faced.
