COMICS PULL JAN 10 #comicrecs #ncbd
A lot of my favorites came out this week. Mister Miracle continues to be the best comic in publication.
👇Individual ratings and notes in the comments👇
nosferatoos 🙌Mister Miracle #6: This is the best comic coming out. Period. Every single issue is perfect. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 7y
nosferatoos 👋 Avengers 675: The first part of the big avengers event was fairly underwhelming. There is a really confusing last page reveal, but I haven‘t been following any avengers books so maybe it‘s more meaningful if you have been. (edited) 7y
nosferatoos 👍New Super-Man 19: a day in the life of Laney Lan. This is a good one shot issue in a series that I have really loved. One of my favorites. 7y

nosferatoos 👎Wonder Woman 38: Better than the last arc but Continues to be mediocre. Robinson absolutely DOES NOT have a feel for the character voices, even like 7 issues into his run. I‘m only buying this out of loyalty to the brand. (edited) 7y
nosferatoos 👍Runaways 5: Yes yes yes YES!!! I love everything about this. If you read the original comics or have been following the TV show (which I also cannot recommend highly enough) then you should absolutely check this out. I went in with low expectations but I am hooked. 7y
nosferatoos 👍 Royal City 9: Lemire doin what Lemire does best. A quiet, slow burn family drama with maybe a little magical realism thrown in. I love this series. “Siblings struggling and having feelings” is 100% my wheelhouse. 7y
GrilledCheeseSamurai I'm all about Mister Miracle too. We're at the halfway point now. 👍 And Royal City is awesome! I love the '90's album cover' variants for this arc. 😍 7y
nosferatoos Mister Miracle is so good and it just gets better with every issue. I can‘t wait to reread it once it‘s all out. Royal city is moving at a much slower pace in this arc and it‘s hard to tell if it‘s building towards anything yet but I really love quiet character development stuff. 7y
