Any of you remember these? I used to pore over them when I was at Grandma‘s as a child in the 1970s. Mine now.
There are many more in the Time-Life set but apparently she stopped subscribing after these. When I come across them in used bookstores they‘re almost always the same titles. I think few people continued to the very end. I sometimes debate whether I should try to fill out the set (inexpensively) or just leave it as is. Your thoughts? 👇
Tamra What you add won‘t have the same sentimental value. Just a thought. 7y
ValerieAndBooks One thing I have learned is that they‘re all male artists featured 😔. 7y
ValerieAndBooks @Tamra I definitely agree with that. So that‘s why my mind keeps going back and forth on this! 7y

SusanInTiburon Maybe let it happen organically? — it would be fun to keep an eye out for them at garage sales and swaps. But I do understand the urge to acquire a Complete Set! I love that your volumes hold memories as well as images. 7y
Dogearedcopy I would keep an eye out for the rest in the set, but separate them on the bookshelf, maybe with bookends 7y
ValerieAndBooks @SusanInTiburon @Dogearedcopy the ones I don‘t have from the series probably would need a home so why not mine ? 😊 I do think I‘d need to differentiate somehow— maybe a note in each one about its source, and like you said Tanya, group them separately. We‘ll see! 7y
