Donaldson & Scheffler are the Lennon & McCartney of children's literature. Everything they do is gold ... in my (obviously insignificant) opinion but more importantly in the opinion of my 3 year old daughter. 3 year olds are harsh critics. But my girl absolutely laps this stuff up. This one is funny and engaging with a sweet entry-level twist. Axel's quirky and idiosyncratic illustrations never fail to delight. Picture book perfection.

LitsyGetsGraphic It‘s true❤️ love their every book 📚 7y
JennAndrew We love them too! This is one of my favourites 😍. And Room on the Broom! I‘m so over the Gruffalo/ Gruffalo‘s Child but mostly because the little one (2yo) can‘t get enough and wants them over and over. I love reading to them, but OMFG, something else, please! 😂 The big one (4yo) loves this one and all the others, but little sis can be a bit of a tyrant! 😂 7y
Amanda.T Sounds great! My daughter just discovered The Gruffalo on her shelves last week and is currently obsessed. 7y
juliegumdrop I love this book. Just added it to our library‘s collection. I have used it in my storytime programs when I do a Mother‘s Day theme. The rhymes are great and the children love to anticipate what animal is coming next. 7y
juliegumdrop My edition is called Where‘s My Mom? I knew it had two titles, and this cover is a bit prettier with the authors‘ names in gold. 7y
