Emperor: The Blood of Gods | 
pickThis was somewhere between a Pick and a So-So. I really enjoyed the first 4 books of the series where the focus was on Julius Caesar, bit he was assassinated at the end of the last book. This one ending up feeling a bit like after the Lord Mayor‘s show without Julius Caesar being there. Events after he was killed was important but never truly bought into the characters in this one. Now to move onto finishing his Conqueror series.
