The journey from Cairo to Cape Town is a super cool thing, but I don‘t need all the name dropping “ooh, look how many famous people I know” or the superbly annoying “I‘m such a great traveler who knows everything and understand Africa perfectly, I am nothing like the pathetic tourists doing touristy things, I‘m so much better”. Had a hard time finishing the book because of this. Even I have experienced more interesting things in Africa, so…
