Should I spend my summer in Cornwall, Copenhagen, California, or the French Countryside? I am feeling excited about #14books14weeks2023 and getting some traction on #serieslove23 at the same time. It‘s going to be a good good Summer!

In high 60s today- what a fluke- cold returning this weekend. Escaped to the porch- first day so early this 2021 season. Put this table out today in front of our all season glider. 😀

Thank you Diane for this stack of Detective Bruno police procedurals. I love this series! @Crazeedi
This my first time reading A Bruno, Chief of Police” mystery. Martin Walker gives us a mystery with a wonderful sense of place, we‘ll drawn characters, an adorable puppy, and marvelous descriptions of food.
Bruno Courrèges is seeking the perpetrators of a series of robberies when an antique dealer is brutally murdered. Does it have something to do with the Neuvic train robbery that happened so long ago (1944)?
Book 6 of Bruno, Chief of Police series. Ah, the French countryside, the sights, the sounds, the smells all provide the backdrop for another great story in the series. Bruno attends to the death of a Resistance fighter from WW2, and also investigates the brutal murder of an antiques dealer. What could they have in common? Read and find out! (Bruno's heart is tested in this book too.)
