Repost for @Cuilin

Whenever I tell someone historical fiction is my favorite genre they automatically think I mean World War II. I get an abundance of gift books on this era I could do a whole year long read from my own TBR pile. This is another broad prompt, choose your own location and interest area for WW2, 1939-1945 (Prompts will narrow as we move through the #bookedInTime reading challenge)

All are welcome

As much as I love learning, reading and teaching about WW2, there are 2 areas I don‘t know much about and am looking for any book recs. I would love to know about life under Nazi occupation as well as post war life and recovery in Europe. Any suggestions? Can be fiction or non-fiction. Thanks!

Booksnchill A Boy in Winter by Rachel Seiffert is on the Women‘s Prize for fiction longlist and would fit the request for living under Nazi occupation in Europe. 7y
AmberWB @Booksnchill ooh, thanks! Just put it on hold at my library! 7y
