I read this book in fits and starts, & I got a lot out of it. The 11 questions Ferriss asks are brilliant. Of course, some interviews were better than others, but the takeaways I got were that by & large, successful people
1. Meditate. This is a recurring theme, so much so that I am convinced to try the practice again.
2. Focus on what they are grateful for
3. Read a lot & write things down
4. Have some sort of physical activity they do regularly

I‘m visiting this week with my aunt, who is a huge reader. Here‘s some of her bookish humor. The books are hanging on strong elastic. Isn‘t it ingenious and fun? #bookishtourism #otherpeoplesshelves #shelfie

I really love this book.

It is made up of mini interviews with all of the best and there is something to get from everyone in there.

While it is overall quite large it is extremely consumable and easy going.

If you're looking for some inspirational reading this is a really good, down to earth option.

I've been on a big nonfiction kick lately. I have such a love/hate relationship with the genre - some of them you finish and think 'this whole thing could have fit on an index card.' I'm liking this one only because he asks every interviewee to recommend books - when the same book shows up 3 times or more it's a good sign that it's worth reading.

Suet624 Oooh. Sounds good. 7y
jamespoole I feel exactly the same way about Tribe of Mentors! Were there any key takeaways that stood out to you? Interested to hear other people's thoughts :) 7y
Ericmanciniwriter @jamespoole my biggest takeaway is that everyone seems to be meditating except for me. And that I have ten new books on my stack that people have recommended 7y

This book is a treasure trove of advice, most of which I didn't know I needed until I read it. 😂The author asks the same set of questions and the variety of responses and perspectives is fantastic. It is a huge book and I've barely scratched the surface. Looking forward to reading more each day 🤓
