How can anyone not love the three little pigs?? I really enjoyed this version of the story. It was the classic tale, but it never gets old. I also really enjoyed the illustrations.

Pickpick

The Three Little Pigs by Bernadette Watts (couldn‘t find her version on litsy) is a piece of traditional literature. It was written in 2012. This was the classic story of the three little pigs. I really loved the illustrations in this book. They were so nice and simple. This story will forever be timeless. It is simple and direct which makes it easy to read. This also adds to the enjoyment of the book.

Pickpick

Three Little Pigs adapted by Jane Jerrard illustrated by Susan Spellman is TL story great for RA or RT. The Three Little Pigs is a fable about 3 pigs who build houses out of three different materials and a big bad wolf tries to blow them down. #ucflae3414f17

KayleeC http://www.makinglearningfun.com/themepages/3LittlePigsPrintables-.htm The link will take you a website with many activities for using the fable in your classroom. There is activities from circle time, math activities and recipes you could use in the classroom. The art activities, block center activities, recipes, etc. would support ESOL 46, use discovery learning activities (hands-on-activities). 7y
KayleeC The activities would also support UDL strategy 2.4, promote understanding across languages, because there is a lot of visual activities. For example, the math lesson has picture number cards. 7y
Juliemorell I think RT with folklore can always be a hit! 7y
DrSpalding Definitely cook with your students! It's always fun and you may be the only one cooking with them. 7y
