5⭐️. If you are a feminist or believe in feminism, you should buy this book for a little girl you know. Girls are constantly being held to double standards. As normally happens when a child is found wanting, they apologize. This books tells little girls to not only be themselves, but they do not have to apologize for being themselves. I love the message in this book, and we do not as a society teach it enough!
MarriedtoMrT I had a friend who was asking for suggestions for her daughter who keeps overly apologizing. Now I can let her know about this book! Thanks! 7y
Gezemice I have noticed that Hilary constantly apologized in her book. I was like, stop it!!! It even effects women in high profile positions. 7y
LibrarianRyan @MarriedtoMrT it might not be out yet, but it will be soon and it's awesome!!! 7y

LibrarianRyan @Gezemice I haven't read it yet, but that would annoy me 7y
Gezemice @LibrarianRyan It is not that bad, but you would not find it in a book by a man. 7y
MarriedtoMrT @LibrarianRyan Bought it on Amazon already. My libraries don‘t have it yet but 50% of profits got to an organization called Girl Up so I was totally cool spending the $10 for the paperback. 7y
LibrarianRyan @MarriedtoMrT also try Feminist baby. It's not about apologizing but it great. Or read it yourself first and see if you think it might work.
