Really enjoyed this for a book I didn't even want in the first place. It was pretty hard to put down, and downright hilarious.

Just enjoy my favorite things: princes and chicken nuggets 😂😂
Thank you Caribou Coffee for being the only “man” I need in my life 🙃
Day 10 of #riotgrams: book and a beverage
"Fortunately, it is far too cold for any sort of Highland Games."
"Is that the thing where people throw huge-ass tree trunks?"
"That it is. If you're referring to the caber toss."
This book is hilarious! I love it so much...
Everyone knows I am a total sucker for over the top YA romance and this one completely sucked me in and made me cry. Love love love. Super sweet and cute and fun!
And then there was this nutty gem:
“I wanted Jane Austen to wet herself at the romance of it.”
“Jane Austen would have peed all over this date.”
I just...I don‘t even know what to say other than it kind of captures Jamie and Dylan in all their nerdy awkwardness. I‘m pretty sure I literally lol-ed when I read that.
“It‘s simply the accent. For whatever reason it fools Americans into thinking we Brits are far more intelligent and self-assured than we really are.”
From the American perspective, this is totally true! 😆
I may have marked this book “so-so” but it still had some great lines I couldn‘t help but screen cap.
I need something light and fluffy after Ove. Perfect snowy day read.
Dylan and Jamie are cute. They have some great banter. But, honestly, I was bored a lot which is not good for book that‘s about a drama-filled reality show that only takes place over a few weeks.
The author wrote a book (tagged below) I loved that was only conversation (interview transcripts) and I think I prefer that format for this author. Dialogue she can do. Everything else, not as much.
Borrow this one when you need a cute teen contemp.
“Ronan seemed nice, but he was probably insane. You don‘t marry someone you just met. Did they not have Frozen in Scotland?”
😂
Book 2 of 2018: Prince in Disguise by Stephanie Kate Strohm 🌟🌟🌟🌟 (4 Stars)
Three Thoughts 1) im@not always a fan of this author but I really enjoyed this book 2) really enjoyed the banter between all of the characters but especially between Dylan & Jaime 3) Some of the secondary characters could have been fleshed out better but overall a cute read
This is a super cute winter romance perfect for these cold, snowy days.
Fabulous launch party for Stephanie—a fun & funny conversation about reality tv, Scotland, Disney princesses, royalty, & more—and her new book Prince in Disguise tonight. If you are a YA reader, a fan of romantic comedies, winter and/or the holiday season, you should know this book is an absolute delight & laugh-out-loud funny. Full of nerdy references, creaky castles, crazy families & lots of adventure, this book is just loads of fun.
Happy book birthday to Prince In Disguise! Here's a happy, cozy book to finish out your year ☕❄🎁👑 I can't say enough about how happy this book made me

"I worry you lack a poetic soul." HA! The literary references in this book are hilarious! Jamie quotes Yeats and Shakespeare to name a few, but it just serves to make the witty dialogue zing!
Yall this is the cutest holiday romance! It has snowy scenes, literary references, and a lifetime movie/The Bachelor plot. Make it your winter must read if you like cute YA romances ❤☕

An Adorable Holiday Slump-buster!
If you‘re in the mood for a fast, slump-buster read, this is it! I loved Dylan immediately. She‘s the shy younger sister of a beauty pageant winner, dragged into a high-profile world she never wanted to be part of. When she ends up meeting a boy she might actually LIKE, she‘s forced to go through the roller coaster of first love on reality television. ... Read more at http://dragonauthors.com

This one is out in December, just in time for an afternoon on the couch with a book & a hot cup of tea as snow falls outside. Funny, heartfelt & full of references to some of our favorite things — Harry Potter & Disney I‘m looking at you — this book is a delightful read. I don‘t want to give anything away so I‘ll just say it has sisters, reality tv, a Scottish lord, a creaky castle and — more. I really enjoyed it. (Smiled a lot too.) ❄️🏰❄️
Starting another ARC I got during BEA. Strohm‘s books are always funny and I‘m looking forward to some good laughs.
