*I hadn‘t heard this song, but the lyrics landed squarely on my memories of the death of JFK, of course. The only person ever prosecuted for this crime was Clay Shaw (top right, in car), and he was acquitted. The prosecutor, Jim Garrison, was the Orleans Parish DA (Louisiana), and the author of the book (top left). As crazy as I thought his book was, Oliver Stone made a movie from it, so what do I know? 😂
arlenefinnigan I mean, it was convenient that Lee Harvey Oswald was shot dead, wasn't it? And you'd have thought there's be *slightly* higher security around the man accused of murdering the president...... 6y
