#Ireland 590 AD. A woman is brutally beaten and healed by a community of sisters founded by Mother Gobnait. During her stay she learns the healing arts, including honey from the Mother‘s bees. When she recovers her memory, she embarks on a mission to seek justice. But life brings her numerous, difficult choices bringing some surprising twists. The plot falls flat sometimes and some issues are resolved a little too easily. ⬇️

Texreader But I found the story compelling and the characters grow and are can be quite likeable. This was a time when Christianity was slowly making a foothold on the island, represented by the community of sisters, so keep in mind the story has a strong religious component. Almost 5 stars. 8mo
