So I sucked at my own #horrifiedreads challenge and only finished 2 books. @TK-421 was rockin' the 80s teen romance though!

Compared to Superflirt this was a solid pick. The story was pretty simple, but felt more engaging. I gotta say that Gary was scary AF. Pre-teen me was probably clueless, but adult me was screaming "Run, Jennifer!" He was like a controlling cult leader!

I'm going to keep reading these and just change to #nostalgianovember ?

I went to my favorite local used bookstore and several thrift shops to pick up 80s teen romances for @RestlessFickleBookSlut ‘s #HorrifiedReads challenge. I cannot overstate how excited I was to binge read cringeworthy literature. Unfortunately the universe would rather trick than treat me. I got nothing!

I have two weeks to hit up the used bookstores for all those books I devoured in my yellow gingham bedroom way back when. I thought for sure Winifred Madison is a factory writer's nome de plume, but, nope. She's the real deal and I have my sights set on her for my #horrifiedreads.
