I loved this because it kept the identity of the villain a secret from the reader, which is unusual in a Prey novel. It really ratchets up the suspense! Having Lucas and his colleagues forced to interact with the truly frightening inmates of a criminal mental hospital give it a Silence of the Lambs vibe, adding to the sinister tone. Excellent, as always!

CocoReads @EvieBee I've had a nook for years but bought a kindle fire last year when they were cheap during the Christmas shoppers my season. I like them both for different reasons. What I really want is an iPad to just put the reading apps on but it's out of budget right now. 7y
