Very emotional read considering the Parkland School Shooting in Florida occurred only two weeks ago. At least this book had an interesting twist on what has become way too familiar in our society. I like Heather Gudenkauf‘s writing style. I can honestly say that her novels never disappoint.

Catching up on my audiobooks. Wish it was under better circumstances.

One Breath Away is an intriguing story about what happens in a small midwestern town when a lone gunman enters an elementary school with one thing on his mind - revenge. I was on the edge of my seat and tearing up, very good! #LitsyAtoZ

Fast paced suspense book about a gunman in a school. The story is told through the eyes of 5 characters, which sounds confusing but somehow works. Gudenkauf paints a vivid picture of terror in a small town. My only complaint was that the ending was just a bit stretched but still a satisfying read.
