This was fun! For fans of ‘Billions‘ and ‘Industry‘, this is just as action packed and intriguing. Full of electric characters, egos and dodgy deals. Set in Wall Street and Silicon Valley, it‘s a fascinating insight into how millions can be made and lost! Loved it!!

tokorowilliamwallace Thanks for the complementary rec! I'm not very far in it yet, but I am a fan of Billions. 3y

Has anyone else read this book? I needed to talk to someone about it the second I finished but Litsy was down 😫. I listened on audio and kept sneaking in minutes every spare second I could. Such a fast-paced financial thriller! It didn‘t feel like chick-lit to me, and although I disliked so many characters, they were realistic and I couldn‘t wait for them to get what they deserved. But that ending! Why is there not a sequel?!?

mrozzz I read it when it came out years ago! 7y
Kaylamburson Where‘s the sequel?? Lol @mrozzz. 7y
mrozzz Maybe it‘s still in the works?! I didn‘t realize it came out in 2015. Thought it was older than that! 7y
Kaylamburson No, it‘s relatively recent. But I can‘t find conversation of it anywhere. Apparently it was a serial first and then adapted into a book. I need to know what happens next! Lol @mrozzz 7y

Just started this one tonight on audio. Sounds like it‘s going to be scandalous! It‘s always interesting to see how authors portray NYC life. I haven‘t had much interaction with Wall Street folks, so I‘m curious how accurate this is!

#TBRtemptation post! Wall Street power vs. Silicon Valley savvy, or "The Social Network" meets "The Wolf of Wallstreet". Todd and his young, hot, & upcoming team of Neha, Beau, & Tara, race to close a $14 billion deal thanks to the nod from new dating app Hook's eccentric founder. Sex scandals, power plays, underhanded dealings, & a young woman's ambition to break a glass ceiling, weld via sheer ambition. Interesting... #blameLitsy #blameMrBook ?

Mehso-so

I didn't expect to enjoy this book, but it turns out I quite liked it. The characters are obnoxious and kind of horrid, but they're real. I've known people similar to the characters. You'll either like or hate this book, I can't really see people being All that in between. It ends on a cliffhanger, and I'm not sure if I would read another book in this series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ of 5

Picked up an arc of this back when I worked at B&n, let's see how it goes.
