1️⃣ There are so many, but this one... I used to keep a copy just so I could hate it more. No relations.
2️⃣ None currently. I can't think of one which would be a 'favourite'.
3️⃣ Cereal, yogurt and coffee.
4️⃣ Eastern
5️⃣ "White Peoples" and that's a complete No! Nope! Never! No. I'm so sorry.

alisiakae Wearing any shirt that is also a skin color just does not work for this prompt! I should have worn purple today. 5y
tournevis @4thhouseontheleft I'm changed out of my night shirt into a grey tee-shirt and now the prompt would be better. Grey Peoples is something I'd like to hear. 5y
tournevis @gradcat Glad I brightened your day! 5y

Cabane à lire at a local beach. No real interesting books, and three shudder inducing ones. Tagged and its sequels. I used to keep a copy in my library just so I could hate it more. #vacationland

5️⃣ Black Traveller.

vivastory It cracks me up that the only posts about this book on Litsy are yours 6y
tournevis @vivastory I know! I don't get why people love it. I've discussed with actual critics and lit profs, pointing to bad style and plot holes and clichés, and they still like it! Boggpes the mind! 6y

For more than 25 years, I kept a copy of this book in my shelves, just for the pleasure of seeing it there and hating it more. It is one of the worst Quebec novels ever written and I will never understand why it's become a classic.

Lcsmcat « just for the pleasure of seeing it there and hating it more » ? 6y
Trashcanman Did that person reincarnate from Charles Dickens? I bet the son of a bitch did! 6y
tournevis @Trashcanman Dickens is better. 6y

I'm not doing #sizzlingsummerbooks but I have to participate here. #Hate compells me. I #hated the tagged book so much, I have no words. For the better part of the last 30 years, I kept a copy of it, just so I could see it on my shelf and hate it more. It is, by far, the most stupid, sexist, idiotic, bad historical novel I have ever read. And I've read my share. And worse: it's super popular! Argh!

Just sayin'.

Gailthurber Did you read it all? 7y
tournevis @Gailthurber Oh yeah! Two deep readings with annotations, followed by an essay. Yes, it was for school. I got an A+. 7y
