If there's a harmful chemical in a product, the EU bans it. Period. In the United States, no such thing is done unless there is extensive, years long study with one-hundred percent certainty that someone's sickness was caused by that product (spoiler alert: that means never). Why is the U.S. a dumping ground for these harmful chemicals? Lobbyists. While I disagree with Schapiro's views on GMOs, this book is far too important to not recommend.

Suet624 Ugh. I‘m just so disgusted. Crappy chemicals in our food supply and non-existent health insurance once the chemicals do their damage. Everyone makes a profit off of us, even the chemo companies. 5y
