Paddington is truely a blessing even through he has definitely caused Mrs. Bird and Mrs. Brown some grey hairs!! I giggled more than once reading this - and it was rather nice visiting the French seaside with the Brown family....
#DoubleSpin for February 2021 #BookSpinBingo : Book 5
I‘ve been on the hunt for the hardcover Paddington‘s with the Peggy Fortnum illustrations... it‘s always a gamble buying them online - and this one does have a few questionable marks (maybe from tape, idk - it‘s a former school library book) and foxing - but the cover is in beautiful condition... and it arrived in the mail today - just in time to be picked as this months #DoubleSpin (as it‘s lucky number 5 on my list)
It's #ManicMonday with @JoScho

3. My Dad loved to drive so weekends often found us in the car for long drives with a stop at a drive-thru for a burger and fries.
4. Cookies and NO nuts!

RIP to Michael Bond, creator of the beloved Paddington Bear. Last year I began collecting the 1970's hardcover editions - they always make me smile, and I'm sad to hear of the author's passing. Like all the best writers though, he will live on through his characters!
