Catching up on the last two years of DC Comics starting with the Man of Tomorrow! #superman #manofsteel #dccomics #dcrebirth
Mini comic 7. This cover reminds me of the 90s Superman emblem arts that always had me sold; also cool to see the similar stories and scenes carrying on, now with the young 'Son of Superman' as a new feature.
Mini comic 6, in the Son of Superman series. I noticed these on Twitter 🙂💎 now excited to collect a few of these awesome picks!
I am so behind on my supermen reading that this was a little hard to follow. At first. Why are there so many supermen. A red one and a black one. Then when it switches over to the story of son of Supermen, which Superman is that? The stories around the son are interesting. The entire book just seems to be a way to launch a Superboy run.
See this. This is what I have to read tomorrow for #24in48 as they expire tomorrow.
I've never particularly liked SUPERMAN stories that are primarily about punching things really hard, and that's mostly what "Son Of Superman" is. Beyond that, they don't do anything interesting with Superman having a child; feels like a callback for the sake of being a callback. Decent art and a few nice beats can't overcome a fundamentally thin story.
Just got an ARC of this (as well as Flash and Wonder Woman) and am so excited. To get into it. What I've read of Son of Superman has been the best Superman I've read in years and years.
