pick🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. I have to give it the five stars because the writing was an excellent departure from the style I have been reading of late. With some Mississippi slang thrown, which to be honest threw me at first, the writing incorporated slang and proper English. I can see this becoming a different type of detective series. Gardner makes Elliot to become a friend I want to read more of.
