#2023Book12
Every Oz story is just okay until Baum finally brings it back around to Dorothy and her friends. I‘m guessing he kept writing Oz stories because they were guaranteed to sell, but I don‘t know why he didn‘t just keep the focus on Dorothy.

Back to my childhood. Adventure with a raggedy group of fantastical characters. Trying to save the Shaggy man's brother from the Gnome King. I wonder if Cornelia Funke was inspired by this series. The gnomes seemed very similar. Onomatopoeia in its title. #PopSugar2022

Hey fellow book lovers, after much convincing from my husband and sister I created a tik tok. I‘ve only got one video up and it‘ll be mostly bookish content, library life, cats and jigsaw puzzles. I‘d love a follow and if you have a tik tok I‘d follow back. Happy reading 📚💗🌻

I wasn‘t a huge fan of the previous Oz book but this one was a bit better. From the beginning, Ann made me laugh. Her reasoning behind any of her actions struck me as ridiculous. Day25: Title That Starts with "T" - Tik Tok of #OZ is a book that really isn't about Tik Tok at all! However, he does get saved after being thrown down a well by the bad ol' Nome King (who I love BTW!) #septinbooks17 #vintagebooks #oldbooks #vintagecovers #vintageoz #antiquebooks #wizardofoz #fairytale #fantasyland #bookstagram #series

Tik-Tok was the first robot to appear in literature in 1907. This is the version that appeared in the movie Return to Oz. He did a library tour a few years ago where I got to meet him. And yes, I am that much of a dork.

TrishB Ahhh - so that's where the robotic dancers in the 80s got their name? 8y
