Une nouvelle menace plane sur le monde. Yulian, corrompu dans le ventre de sa mère par Thibor Ferenczy, le terrible – et trépassé – membre des Wamphyri, éprouve maintenant une étrange compulsion : connaître son vrai père et répandre son œuvre de par le monde. Et seul Harry Keogh a le pouvoir de l’arrêter. Le second vrai problème d’Harry en ce moment, c’est que, prisonnier du continuum de Möbius, il n’a pas de corps !

Enjoyed this as much as Lumely's first novel in the Necroscope series. However, I felt that the last sixty pages which includes the denouement and climax wasn't nearly as strong as the rest of the novel. I like the author's unique and intricate ontology for the Vamphyri. The vampires in the Necroscope series make Lestat, and Stoker's blood sucker one-dimensional in comparison. I'm eager to bite into part 3: The Source.
