First half was good, second half was strange, and the scene at the very end was 😲 I‘m hoping we get to see more of “Chris” in the next volume and to find out what he‘s been up to. 👍

pickI liked volume two much more then volume one. Now that the world is set up, we got some more character development and some cool situations.
pickI thought volume 2 addressed a lot of issues I had with volume 1. The “quirky character” bits were turned down a notch and we actually got some answers and the beginning of an interesting quest.
pickVolume two just as bananas as volume one - but some questions are starting to get answered and change is afoot. I'm looking forward to volume three. (Also - I love and adore my cats, but if they could also give me book recs I'd be over the moon!)
Volume two is going to keep on with the crazypants shenanigans, looks like. 😆 (alarm cat is not quite as awesome as lying cat from Saga, by the by, but still oddly endearing)
