Welcome to Litsy!

My first Litsy post was a pan six months ago. It's been a great six months. If it wasn't for the giveaways and ability to shelve my TBR among many different category shelves, I'd abandon it completely. Litsy has been much better for book recommendations and I'll admit litfluence points encourage me to read more, which is good since reading is mentally healthier than being on Twitter. #firstlitsypost #booktober

I made myself a seafood feast in honor of this beautifully atmospheric Maine-based book. I loved the finely drawn characters and beautiful writing.

This had potential but was boring. Where I should have felt something in connection with the characters or story, I just felt desire for the book to be over. One nice thing was one of the main characters is a lesbian.
