I really enjoyed the first issue I got on Free Comic Book Day back when. This was a pretty good start. Introduced some deep philosophical questions. Could go some interesting routes. Only four issues in this volume, with a one-shot spin-off primer.

This comic is so dark. It‘s about animals who “wake up” and can think and talk. So they decide to get back at the humans. There‘s a lot of blood, eating of people and killing. And the dog on the cover is named after the Hound from GoT 😂.
#Booked2019 - Read a comic
#ReadHarderChallenge - Read a comic by a LQBTQIA creator.
this was so good - I zipped right through it and I‘m so glad I have volumes 2 & 3 on hand so I can continue somewhat uninterrupted 😄
So, animals start talking and chaos basically ensues. One girl and her companion hound are making their way across the country amidst said chaos.
Some things felt a bit rushed in this introductory volume, but I‘m trusting further reading will shed more light on everything.
Well I absolutely love this so far! It focuses on a girl and her dog, Sandor, in the midst of a drastic shift in the status quo. Animals are waking up and becoming sentient, they are demanding equal rights, and fighting back. This was pretty emotional with light and dark moments alike. I love the art and the unique voices the animals have. Definitely digging right into vol. 2.
Starting this today since I haven't been wanting to read, I am hoping it will be a nice and quick way to get me back on track.
