Although I felt a little disconnected from some of the characters because this book was part of a pretty lengthy series that I haven‘t read, I really enjoyed it. It deals with the subject(s) of remarriage after the loss of a spouse, and finding the courage to love someone who has hurt you. Karen Kingsbury is def the queen of Christian fiction! Read it y‘all!

I‘m a HUGE Karen Kingsbury fan-especially of the Baxter Family Drama! This book came in the mail today and it has a Baxter Family tree inside; well I was looking at it and I got a HUGE spoiler alert from the picture! Now I‘m going to have to reread the series and finish the series I haven‘t read cause I‘m so confused! 😱😢🤯

I read this on my ereader, but i would like to get it in physical form. This book was so good! A typical tear-jerking novel by one of the best Christian Fiction authors around. It was sweet, funny, and oh so romantic. A Love Story at it's best. Received five stars from me. I loved this book!

Since I have been listening to Karen Kingsbury lately, Decided to read the story of the patriarch. Sweet.

This is not the best book in the Baxter Family series (over 20 novels!) but, if you love the Baxter family as much as I do, it's a must read!

Loved that you went back to the beginning and learned about John and Elizabeth's love story! I have always been curious of my paternal grandparents love story and you could never get a straight answer out of them about it... I am guessing that there is a good story there but I doubt I will get it now with my grandfather's advancing Alzheimer's.

Waiting for a concert to start so I might as well as do some reading!
