I absolutely hated the last book I read in this series, Sour Puss. This one was a lot better. It has two timelines, but they‘re handled well enough and do connect. I didn‘t forget who the victim was this time, and the story was interesting. In all the other books, the mc‘s name is Mary Minor Harristeen, nicknamed Harry; however, in this book, she says her name is Harriet. Did the author forget her character‘s name? #audiowalk

I‘m giving this series another chance after the last one I read that I hated. We‘ll see how it goes. It was a beautiful day today. #audiowalk

Bored by the talk of golf and the Revolutionary War flashbacks. Moving on to the next #MrsMurphy mystery.

BBooks Talk about golf would have done it for me.😂 6y
KathyWheeler Noooo! I haven‘t read this one yet. I don‘t think I will. I‘m still made about the grapes one. 6y

This is the 24th book in the series and I still enjoy the antics of Mrs. Murphy, Tucker and especially Pewter. One of my favorite series!
