This was a great read set in 1970's Germany it is a remarkably relevant look at how the tabloid press can destroy an individual. As it's a short book it is definitely one i will reread.
Böll brilliantly demonstrates how a young woman's character and reputation are ruthlessly attacked because of her relationship with a young dissident. It's a chilling and horribly relevant story #lost #NoFemmeBer @Cinfhen @Billypar
