A thrilling, all-new adventure featuring the Doctor as played by Matt Smith in the spectacular hit series from BBC Television. They like the Shadows. You know them as Plague Warriors When the Doctor arrives in the 19th-century village of Klimtenburg, he discovers the residents suffering from some kind of plague a wasting disease. The victims face a horrible death but whats worse, the dead seem to be leaving their graves. The Plague Warriors have returned The Doctor is confident he knows whats really happening; he understands where the dead go, and hes sure the Plague Warriors are just a myth. But as some of the Doctors oldest and most terrible enemies start to awaken he realises that maybe just maybe hes misjudged the situation.

80/150 I love Doctor Who, and I've enjoyed many of his written adventures, but this isn't one of them. Slow and tedious, I thought the author was building atmosphere, but then nothing much happened. The Cybermen never really come off as a scary threat, lumbering along like slow zombies, ultimately defeated by some last second techno babble on the Doctor's part. Also, I felt the story suffered because the Doctor was without a companion. ⬇️

RamsFan1963 No Amy, no Rory, no River Song, not even the usually annoying Clara. Too much time was spent explaining things that one of his companions would have grasped right from the start. I missed the witty banter between the Doctor and his fellow travelers, it made the story one note grim. 2 ⭐⭐ 4mo

This one was just ok. I think if Amy and Rory or even Clara (well maybe not Clara) had been involved, it would have made for a better story.

Just over 2 hours left for my #24in48. That should give me enough time to finish up Big Damn Heroes.

Traci1 @VioletBramble he really does make everything better. Donna is my favorite, but Rory is probably a close second. And then Captain Jack. I'd loved to have had Jack meet the Ponds. 6y
