Amelia's 5th-Grade Notebook | 
Y'all, I was a substitute teacher yesterday! It was my very first time and this ultra hermit was super nervous. (I haven't worked outside the home for about 5 years. 😬) It was 5th grade and the kids really helped me get through the day! I'm going back on Wednesday and am feeling pretty proud of myself. Helped one kiddo find Narnia in the library and got to suggest a few favorites, so that was great too!

Johanna414 That's awesome! Glad you had a good experience your first day! I subbed for years and I always enjoyed 5th/6th grade - old enough to have a real conversation and reason with but not so old they've developed major attitudes 8y
