I think there was better art this time around, plus we get the villainous Cheryl Blossom in this volume. Will she tear the newly reunited Archie and Veronica apart?

Fun but not quite as enjoyable as the first two. It did a fairly good job of balancing the Riverdale side with the Switzerland side in quantity, but not quite in quality. Riverdale stories were less engaging overall and didn't really bring out the most of the characters aside from a few solid moments I found absolutely delightful. I preferred the art in this to Vol. 2, but the first remains my favorite. Already have the next from the library!
I have been loving the new Archie comics by Waid. And this one kept on the trend. Really fun modern Archie stories with all the angst I am looking for.
10ish books left that I want to read this year, but I passed by the shelf and saw these, and well... I just couldn't leave these graphic novels at the library! They needed to come home with me!
Funny thing was, what I really wanted was a historical romance set at Christmas. Any suggestions? Preferably Regency, but I'm open-minded. 😊
Loved this volume. I like the addition of Cheryl Blossom. We definitely needed a new antagonist. The illustrations are so lush in these graphic novels! #thankfullyreading
The introduction to Cheryl was a lot of fun but I think the Dilton was my favorite part.
I love this series, but this volume was lacking ? Cheryl Blossom's introduced, she's a very on again/off again char in the original comics, but I think she'll be sticking around here. Too bad bc I never liked her. Roni's in Switzerland, throwing a wrench in the story. They cut back to her often but she isn't interesting enough to carry the story. The charm of Archie comics is "the gang" getting together & into hijinks, which was absent here.
Sorry work but I'm not coming back from break until I finish this here book! #sorrynotsorry
This one wasn't as great at the first two volumes, but it was still a lot of fun and a quick read. #readathon
