Thirteen authors, including Gail Z. Martin, David Gerrold, and Jonathan Maberry, come together to pen short stories innovating Sherlock Holmes, adapting and revolutionizing the iconic character. #CharactersLikeAlice @LibrarianRyan

The #Caterpillar made me think of Sherlock Holmes, grumpy smoking, sometimes/often rude...

Blurry picture, tried to catch the 14 cigarettes scene.

In the final stretch! Splurged on some yummy juice and grabbed this book on impulse from the library. It is either going to be totally awesome or a complete trainwreck - based on the descriptions of the stories contained within. Either way, it's probably going to be a fun way to close out #24in48 😄

This was one of the worst books I've ever read. I was so excited for different kind of Sherlock Holmes stories. Sci-fi, just various Aus, but every one of these but maybe 2 was horribly written. Most were unoriginal, sexist and boring too. Never, ever pick it up. I guarantee you can blindly pick a different book and it will be 100% better.

#TBRtemptation post 3! Michael Ventrella is a prolific author who has connections with all kinds of people in the publishing industry, hence him teaming up with the venerable Jonathan Maberry to put together a Sherlock Holmes anthology of the sleuth in various carnations: back in college, on reality tv, as a Russian robot, as a holodeck creation, as a vampire, as a parrot...you get the idea. Have a little fun! #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎
