Book number 100 for 2018! I needed a light, funny read to enjoy over the holidays. I still need to read the others by the mother/daughter duo and I‘ve heard the audiobooks are great.
This 8th book, by mother & daughter authors, Lisa Scottoline & Francesca Serritella, is not meant to be more than a light read giving their various perspectives on life events. This one is not my favorite of the 8, but it‘s a quick read and enjoyable.
Francesca Serritella discussing obsessing over hair, looks, and weight: “Turns out I‘m only ‘woke‘ enough to feel guilty for being vain and superficial.” I‘m about 30 years older than she is, but I can relate. 😄
#TBRtemptation post 5! Recently released. The 8th installment in The Amazing Adventures of an Ordinary Woman series. The mother-daughter authorial team is back with another collection of humorous real-life stories from their own lives. Subjects include: drunk-shopping online, smell-dating, pets, and a Guyatus. #blameLitsy #blameMrBook 😎
The newest release from Lisa Scottoline and Francesca Serritella, and worth the wait on the hold list! As always, these two manage to make everyday situations hysterically funny! There are always multiple things in every book that I find myself nodding my head too and agreeing with and saying me too! And now I'll have to wait nearly a year for their next compilation, sigh...📖📚♥️😊
This is my first book of theirs and I really enjoyed it. Funny. Great to listen to in the car.
