Book confession time: I have around 400 books...which is only a problem (to me) when I travel. I collect Europa and NYRB editions as well as classic Modern Library. And I‘m trying to trade out paperbacks for hardbacks as I find them. So today I finally forked over the 4.99 for this app and I‘m loving it. I‘ve got 73 catalogued so far. I can create categories, apply descriptive tags, and scan barcodes...among other things. I highly recommend! ⬇️

cathysaid And I‘m still laughing over the fact that the free version allows you to catalog 50 books. 50?!?!? 😂😂😂 4y
readordierachel 50? Amateurs 😆 4y
cathysaid @readordierachel Right? As if...💁‍♀️ 4y

BarbaraBB 50n😂? Is this app better than the LibraryThing catalogue? 4y
cathysaid @BarbaraBB To be fair I haven‘t visited Library Thing in quite a while, so it very well could be comparable. 4y
BarbaraBB I now feel the need to check this one out too while I have more than 2,000 books catalogued in LT 😂 (edited) 4y

emz711 Is that a real one or like a birthday card? I haven't seen one in years on my library books! 5y
Megabooks 😁🤣 5y
Purrfectpages @emz711 no clue! It‘s just an image I found online. 5y

Does anyone use book catalogue apps to organize your library? Which do you think is the best one? Are there any that will link your Goodreads and Kindle books?

RaimeyGallant Library Thing owns Litsy, and a lot of people here use it. 5y
jpmcwisemorgan I‘d like to know this too. I can‘t seem to find a good way to do this. 5y
Patchshank @RaimeyGallant I tried library thing. I didn't really like it all that much and I couldn't get my Amazon books on to it. If I could get my Amazon books on it I'd tolerate it, but I'm just wondering if there's something better out there. 5y

RaimeyGallant Sorry, I wouldn't know... 5y
Patchshank @RaimeyGallant That's fine. It's just something I'm throwing out there. 5y
Skyrimir I like Libib, but I don‘t know about it connecting to anything. It‘s super easy to scan books into and you can make multiple libraries in the app as well. 5y
sprainedbrain I use LT, but really haven‘t found a better way to track my books than all of my extra shelves on Goodreads. 5y
Lcsmcat Like @Skyrimir I use Libib. It lets me have different libraries for physical books and ebooks, and scanning in physical books is fast and easy. Adding eBooks is a slower, manual process. I haven‘t found a quick way to do it. So if someone in Litsy-land knows a way, tag me in your answer please. 5y

I spent yesterday evening cataloging all my mysteries with this BookBuddy app on my phone. It was easy and provides detailed info on each book. Now when I go to the bookstore I‘ll know what I have and what I don‘t!

Crazeedi Great Idea! WishI were so organized! 6y

Cuddling on the sofa. It is still raining outside. My bf is watching Lewis (I saw the episodes before) and I look at this magazine. I love items they sell and I thought, you might love the cover. 😊😍

LauraBrook Sounds like a pretty perfect Sunday to me! 6y
Moony Ohhh das klingt gut. Ist das ein Onlineshop? 6y
Sarah83 @Moony Sie haben einen Laden in Köln, aber ja auch einen Onlineshop. 😉😘 6y

I have tried so many apps for logging all my physical books and have not found one that I like. I came across someone's post yesterday regarding this app so I checked it out. It's a winner!! Spending a good chunk of the day adding in my 📚!

TheLibrarian I'm always trying to find a good one too! I'll check this one out. Thanks for sharing! 7y
Karen3 @TheLibrarian it's very user friendly and you can set it up for all sorts of different things. Hope you enjoy! 7y

I'm updating my book catalog. According to the date on the computer this hasn't been updated since March 😲 my handwritten catalog has been though.

It's my favorite work day of the year that doesn't involve getting free food: proofs of our kids book catalog are in!
