One of the blurbs on this book is “As if Jane Austen were rewriting Terry Pratchett” which gave me very high expectations. They were not met - at best, this was a miss on an attempt to be Monty Python.

Time for a little #LitsyPartyofOne snack and a new read that is described as what would happen if Jane Austen rewrote Terry Pratchett. Sounds fun!
My Mom has a coworker that sent this home with her to give to me to read. I had never heard of it but it sounds like a book version of Monty Python 🤣 The main character is a disgraced knight in the court of Camelot and so has been demoted from the Knights of the Round Table to the Knights of the Square Table AKA The Table of Less Valued Knights 🙈 Anyone read this? It sounds hilarious.
#maybookflowers #satire A very funny book about the knights at King Arthur's court who didn't quite make the Round Table. Featuring such characters as the Locum of the Lake (filling in for the Lady of the Lake).
Such a fun read! Highly recommend. Absolutely loved her first book and when this finally came out, I was thrilled. The writing is more witty and sharp even than her first book, and just had me laughing with some of the one liners. Great cast of characters and I loved how all the storylines and characters all came together in the end. I would absolutely love it if there was a sequel!
Loved Marie Phillip's book Gods Behaving Badly, so am excited to read this one! Off to a good start so far!
Truly hilarious. A must for fans of Monty Python or Mel Brooks movies. Had me giggling the whole way through.
