It's about a young woman and her feelings about herself and her best friend and various men. The best parts are all the drinking scenes in bars in Manchester. Such disaffection, so gloom - I think I need to read some earnest kidlit next...

#currentlyreading - this cover photographs so well! It's about a woman who returns to Manchester after a spell in New York. It's slow paced but I really like the writing style.
