Ghouls live among us, the same as normal people in every way--except their craving for human flesh. Ghouls live among us, the same as normal people in every way--except their craving for human flesh. Ken Kaneki is an ordinary college student until a violent encounter turns him into the first half-human half-ghoul hybrid. Trapped between two worlds, he must survive Ghoul turf wars, learn more about Ghoul society and master his new powers. While Kaneki and his friends tangle with the ghouls from the Aogiri Tree organization, the Commission of Counter Ghoul's ongoing investigations bring them dangerously close to discovering Kaneki's secret.

In this volume, the fight scenes were more intense and suspenseful, making this a thrilling read.

Kankei is fighting for what he feels is right, but at the same time, letting his inner Ghoul out is taking a toll on him.

Lots of secrets with the doctor who did Kankei's transplant are uncovered in this one. And once again, there's an epic cliffhanger at the end.

It's been awhile since I've read the last volume, and I'm so happy to come back to the world of ghouls! Kaneki continues to seek out the answers to Rize's past and comes across more than he could have anticipated! This one is filled with plenty of action and plenty of my favorite character, Kaneki ❤️
